Edit your choir or group page

For choir page editors only

Once you have located your choir page and entered edit mode you can make changes and/or additions to your page.

There are two text box types available to you, heading and paragraph

  1. Adding blocks Use a heading for the concert name/performance title, and a text block for each individual piece.

  2. Add and edit a heading

    • Click the ‘plus’ box.

    • Select ‘Heading’.

    • Click into the heading block added to your page

    • Enter your concert or performance title in to the heading block.

    • Press Enter on your keyboard. This will automatically add a paragraph block ready for your first piece of music.

  3. Add and edit a paragraph To add a paragraph block to your page repeat the process above, clicking on Paragraph rather than Heading.

    • Select the paragraph block

    • Add the title of the first piece of music

  4. Adding a link to a rehearsal file In a new window go to John Fletcher Music, log in if necessary and use the ‘Search’ function to find the piece.

    • Copy the URL for the page from the top menu bar. circle-exclamation Use only the URL link, please do not use dropbox links. Dropbox links can change and so cannot be used on your Choir Page.

    • Return to your Choir Page, select the text for the piece of music, click the link button.

    • Paste the URL into the link box.

    • Press Enter on your keyboard.

  5. Editing and deleting blocks

    • To delete a block, click on the block and then select the three dots and then Delete.

    • To edit any block click onto it to make the necessary changes.

  6. Using the document overview

    • When working on long documents the document overview can be useful to find your way around. Click on the icon in the menu bar to reveal the document overview.

  7. Don’t forget to click Save before you finish.

If you get a warning offering to ‘Stay on Page / Leave Page’, click ‘Stay on Page’ and then ‘Save’.
